Plot
“White Bird” is about Julian Albans who is forced to change schools after bullying Auggie Pullman in “Wonder”. But not as the boy from his earlier character. Julian quarrels with the content of the book and, several turns later, finds himself with his maternal grandparent, played by Helen Mirren. She shares memories of World’s War Two with him. She was the young Jewish girl Sara Blum. She lived in Nazi Occupied France and was sheltered by her schoolmate Julien Beaumier and his family. The fighting narrative contains the elements of goodness, bravery and affection to hatred and violence.
